Road patrol

 Today I am training for road patrol I have learnt a bit about road patrol and soon I am going to go and practice on the road. It is a huge responsibility and I know i am up for it I am going to try and pass the test. So I just went and did the test and I past. 😀👍

Eotc

 Eotc is a week of fun activities to do for the week Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Eotc was really fun on Thursday witch was the first day of eotc we did Adrenalin forst and Spenser park. And on Friday we did top team and Mega Air.  On Monday we did roller skating with phat sk8. it was awesome to do. Tuesday was a amazing race all throughout town. And Wednesday was surfing. I stood on the board for a long time.

Athletics

 On Wednesday it was the day of athletics. But I couldn't do athletics because I hurt my shoulder and had to be in a sling. I am still wearing a sling now and my shoulder still hurts but it will get better soon.  I had to help miss Scott with discus but it wasn't bad though. Here are some pictures of the sprinting event. I wish I could of been running but I couldn't of with my arm.

                         

Last day of my first term

Today is my last day of my first term. I have all these cute memories of my first term  at Hornby.  I liked working with my buddy class. Some real memories, there's no doubt I will miss school in the holidays.

100 word count

Every week I have been working on my 100 word count writing. A 100 word count is writing a story about a prompt you are given.  The prompts we have had this term are  phenomenal,  terrifying and explosive. It has to have exactly 100 words in each and every one. I finished it in only a few weeks. I struggled with it.  Here is my one that used the prompt .

It was just an ordinary day and I was playing on my phone at my desk  until I heard, “Peyton, come on! We have to go.”

“Go where?”

 “Somewhere”

“Just tell me where!”  I heard a  knock at  the  door. I said, “Don’t worry, I’ll get it.” It was my nana and grandad saying, “Are you ready to go?”

 “Go where?” 

“On the gondola!” 

“Wow, I mean sure.”                          

“Here is your bag. It has everything you will need in it and your lunch is in it too.”  said my mum.  When we were on the gondola it was so phenomenal.
