100 word count

Every week I have been working on my 100 word count writing. A 100 word count is writing a story about a prompt you are given.  The prompts we have had this term are  phenomenal,  terrifying and explosive. It has to have exactly 100 words in each and every one. I finished it in only a few weeks. I struggled with it.  Here is my one that used the prompt .

It was just an ordinary day and I was playing on my phone at my desk  until I heard, “Peyton, come on! We have to go.”

“Go where?”

 “Somewhere”

“Just tell me where!”  I heard a  knock at  the  door. I said, “Don’t worry, I’ll get it.” It was my nana and grandad saying, “Are you ready to go?”

 “Go where?”

“On the gondola!”

“Wow, I mean sure.”

“Here is your bag. It has everything you will need in it and your lunch is in it too.”  said my mum.  When we were on the gondola it was so phenomenal.

  1. Wait for me Peyton!...I LOVE going on the gondola even though I am scared of heights.

The first and only time I went on the one in Christchurch I thought we were going to hit the fence,it was really close and then the thing stopped half way up the hill. Not a fun position to be in when heights are a fear.

Have you been on a gondola?.

The sun is shining so it might turn out to be a warm afternoon.
What exciting things have you been doing?.
I have been going for walks and gardening-not that you could call those exciting.
